ALLEN THOMAS
LEAD PASTOR

Allen was born in India and migrated to the United States at the age of 8.
During a trip to Ethiopia in 2007, Allen felt a call to ministry and attended Christ for the Nations Institute where he graduated with a B.A. in Practical Ministry. He went on to earn a B.A. in Biblical Studies from The King’s University and his M.A. in Theology and Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary.
He has held positions in various multi-ethnic and multi-generational churches. Prior to moving to San Antonio, Allen was part of a church planting network in New York City where he helped launch multiple local churches. He has grown to love San Antonio and is excited to see God’s hand at work in this city.
Allen resides in Helotes with his wife Crystal, son Ezra, and daughters Madeline and Penelope. In his spare time, you can find Allen changing diapers, watching documentaries, and working on his E30.

ALTHEA WILSON
MINISTRY ASSISTANT

Althea was born and raised in Northern California where she studied Pharmacology. Althea moved to San Antonio with her family nine years ago.
Althea is the OWCC Ministry Coordinator where she gets to utilize her gift of caring for our building and comforting others. Althea enjoys connecting with others and finding meaningful ways to serve them. Her greatest joys in life are spending time with her children, Joe (24) and Rachel (18), and her personal prayer time with God.

CRYSTAL SOLANO
MINISTRY COORDINATOR

Crystal serves as the Ministry Assistant for Outer West Community Church.
Crystal was born and raised in Southern California and recently moved to San Antonio in 2021 with her family. Crystal has been married to her husband, Chad, for 18 years and they have three daughters: Hailey, Noelle, and Madelyn. Raised in a Christian family, Crystal decided at the age of 19 to give her heart to the Lord and has been serving Him in various ministries since then.
Prior to moving to San Antonio, Crystal has held various positions doing administrative work and is excited to join the team utilizing those skills for ministry. She earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Foreign Language in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies in 2020.
During her spare time, Crystal enjoys exploring San Antonio and learning about its culture. She loves to be outside, reading about health & wellness and cooking. She loves to eat Mexican food (not Tex-Mex), cheeseburgers, and dark chocolate.

DAN SNYDER
EXECUTIVE PASTOR

Dan serves as the Executive Pastor of Outer West Community Church. Prior to serving at OWCC he was a pastor in Denver and before that, a police officer. He is a graduate of University of Northern Colorado (BA Criminal Justice) and Denver Seminary (MA Pastoral Counseling).
Dan is married to Britt and together they have three kids: Sutton (2016), Sloan (2018), and Shaw (2020). They moved to San Antonio, where Britt is from, in early 2020 after Dan accepted the position of OHC Alamo Ranch / OWCC Executive Pastor.
If you can’t find Dan at OWCC, he’s probably exploring new restaurants and coffee shops with Britt, chasing his kids around, doing CrossFit, telling funny jokes, reading a good book, and/or cheering on his favorite sports teams (Nuggets, Broncos, Rockies, Avs, and Buffs!).

JON SNAVELY
NEXT GEN DIRECTOR

Jon serves as the Next Gen Director at Outer West Community Church. Jon has been married to Renée for 17 years and they have two daughters: Cassie and Lily. As a prior military family, they spent years moving around the country. Most recently, they moved to San Antonio from Florida, where Jon served as a pastor. They are excited to put down some solid roots.
In high school, a mission trip to Mexico was the catalyst Jon needed to propel him into his faith. Jon attended the International Bible College in San Antonio working towards a B.A. in Theology, American Military University for a B.A. in Psychology, and is currently finishing a B.A. in History.
Jon felt a strong pull to attend and serve at Outer West Community Church and loves getting to be a part of what God is doing through the Church in San Antonio. He loves spicy food, playing games (competing), reading, learning new things, and spending time with friends and family.

MEGHAN CRUZ
KIDS DIRECTOR

Meghan serves as the Kids Director of Outer West Community Church. Prior to serving at OWCC Meghan served in Children’s Ministry at Oak Hills Church. She has worked in education as a teacher before making the decision to stay home with her children when they were younger. Meghan accepted Christ at the age of 6 years old after attending VBS at a local church and was baptized soon after. Her passion for Children’s Ministry stems from knowing God uses volunteers to spread His Gospel and change lives.
Rudy and Meghan are native San Antonians and cannot imagine a better place to raise a family. They have been married for 24 years and have 4 young adults: Anthony, Alysia, Andrea & Ariella (Ella). When the weather permits, Meghan and Rudy can most likely be found at a local lake on their paddle boards, DIY remodeling their home or watching Ella perform at a local theater.

TREY WRAPP
WORSHIP ARTS PASTOR

Trey serves as the Worship Arts Pastor at Outer West Community Church. He has been married to his amazing wife, Chelsea, for eight years and loves leading worship with her. They have three great kids - River, Brooks, and Haven - who keep them on their toes.
The son and grandson of pastors, Trey has been around the local church all of his life. He began serving in worship ministry in college and that path has taken him from West Texas to Nashville, Tennessee, and is now grateful to be serving here in San Antonio. Trey has a real passion to help people encounter and worship God with their whole lives.
Trey loves spending time with his family, pour over coffee, live music, smoked meats, and the mountains.
