AND CLASSES

At OWCC, we value meeting in smaller groups to draw closer to Jesus Christ and to each other.

Our Groups meet in the fall and spring, typically consisting of 6-12 people.

Life Groups provide welcoming and hospitable environments for studying scripture and discussing life's issues, celebrations, and challenges. Members of Life Groups support one another through prayer and care.

We also offer several Classes and Support Groups throughout the year covering topics such as faith, grief, recovery, marriage, finances, divorce, and food.

FAQ

  • Signups for Groups occur in January and August.

  • Groups run in two, 8-12 week sessions – fall and spring.

  • We ask that you commit to attending at least 75% of the gatherings. If you can’t make this commitment, we recommend you take the session off to allow others to have the opportunity to join.

  • In order to foster community, depth of conversation, and trust, sign-ups close after a group has reached capacity.

  • Generally speaking, we ask that you only join one Group per session so that you can go deep with that particular group and it allows us extra space for everyone to join a Group.

  • There’s two steps: join a Group and then apply to lead a Group. We’ll take it from there. Apply to lead a Group by filling out this form.

  • No worries! There are lots of other groups that meet outside of Outer West Community Church.
