Welcome to the Leadership Development Program (LDP) at OWCC. The LDP is designed for those interested in vocational ministry. During your time in the LDP, a resident will gain invaluable ministry experience, hands-on leadership opportunities, and practical ministry training.

LDP Residents join our staff in a part-time role of 15 hours per week. The position will be evaluated on a 6-month basis and may be renewed for up to three years as long as it remains mutually beneficial for the resident and church. When residents join our staff, we equip, invest, and empower them to contribute to God’s kingdom work in our church and city.

Residents at OWCC will serve in a ministry area related to their gifting and calling. Current ministry areas where a resident might focus include: administration, community life, church planting, justice and mission, OWCC Kids, OWCC Students, service programming, and worship.

That said, we don’t have specific job positions that are waiting to be filled. Instead, we have identified a few important gift/skill sets that can be leveraged in many ways depending on the resident’s experience and passions.

The time commitment is up to 15 hours per week. In return, LDP residents receive a small monthly stipend.

Qualifications to be considered include:

+Spiritual maturity and above reproach character
+Synergy with our theology, ethos, and culture
+Strong self-awareness about personality traits, gifting, and skills
+Employment experience (does not have to be ministry-related)
+Assertiveness and initiative
