Sabbath Sunday
From the very beginning, God designed rest to be an essential part of our lives, and we take that seriously.
On Sunday, July 5, we'll observe a Sabbath Sunday. A few times throughout the year, we intentionally pause our regular gatherings to embrace God's invitation to rest, spend time with family and friends, and remember that our value isn't found in our productivity.
Enjoy the holiday weekend, be present with those around you, and take time to reflect on God's goodness.
We look forward to gathering again on Sunday, July 12, during our regular service times. ❤️
Baptism Sunday
Here at Outer West Community Church, we like to say that baptism is an outward expression of an inward change - a way to share your faith in Jesus publicly. Being baptized shows others that you've decided to follow Jesus and allows others to celebrate the decision with you.

Parent Equipping Seminar
Parent Equipping Seminar – April 18
None of us were meant to figure out life on our own, and that includes parenting. Whether you have a toddler or a teenager, you carry a lot—but you don’t have to carry it alone.
This spring, we’re launching Parent Equipping Seminars as an ongoing way to support and partner with parents. Our first seminar will focus on how to shape the faith of your family through everyday moments, simple conversations, and natural rhythms at home.
Whether this is new for you or already part of your family life, this seminar is designed to encourage you, give practical ideas, and remind you of the important role you already have in your child’s spiritual journey.
Breakfast and childcare will be provided. Register by April 16, 2026.
Night of Worship & Prayer
Join us for a Night of Worship as we gather to seek the presence of God together.
Throughout the night we’ll spend extended time worshiping through song, reading and reflecting on Scripture, and praying together as a church. We also leave room for quiet reflection and openness to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we listen and respond to what God is doing among us.
Whether you come carrying burdens, gratitude, questions, or simply a desire to draw near to God, this night is an invitation to slow down and worship together as a community.
NISD's Special Needs Prom: Volunteer Call
Join NISD's Special Needs Prom on April 10th for an unforgettable night. Volunteers are needed to help support, celebrate, and make every guest feel like a star. Sign up to be part of something truly special!
Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday at Outer West
Sunrise Service: 7:00 AM
Worship Services: 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM
Easter represents much more than candy-filled eggs, a bunny, or a day off work.
At its heart, Easter is an invitation — an invitation to a new start, a new life, and a new journey with Jesus.
All services will share the same message. The Sunrise Service will be a shorter, abbreviated gathering.
Outer West Kids will be available at all services except the 7:00 AM Sunrise Service!
Egg Hunt
You’re invited to our annual Egg Hunt here at Outer West on April 4th from 10AM–12PM!
This family-friendly Easter event is a great way to celebrate with our community. Bring your kids, invite your friends, and enjoy a fun morning filled with excitement, laughter, sweet treats from onsite food trucks, and plenty of eggs to find.
This event is for kids ages 2 years old–5th grade.
Adaptive egg hunt options will be available for children with special needs so every family can feel welcome.
Good Friday Service
Good Friday Service
Tenebrae, meaning “Shadows,” is a centuries-old tradition — a quiet, reflective service that invites us into the darkness of the cross.
Through Scripture readings, quiet reflection, and soft worship, we’ll journey together through the story of the crucifixion. This is a time to sit in the heaviness of Christ’s sacrifice, to reflect, to lament, and to consider the depth of His love for us.
